Well, my experience with instantdegrees.com has been very good.
I was one of their first clients way back in 2001.
The legally granted degrees that I have obtained over the years - a bachelor, a master and doctorate - have served me well.
I must stress that private degrees do not meet all expectations in all circumstances, but correctly used by an intelligent person, they are a great tool.
Like any other tool, in the hands of an idiot they are useless.
I would only recommend using instantdegrees.com if you are genuinely above averagely intelligent and capable of flexible application of knowledge.

But, it is very necessary to have awareess and knowledge of constricts. For instance, if you need national diploma, then avoid this service. Private degree diploma is legal, but good when situation needs not the national diploma. In my case, no need for national diploma, therefore I am happy.

I have a bachelor and master degree from instantdegrees.com. I got the bachelor in 2004 andf the master in 2007. I am looking at a doctorate. I would not be back on this site getting another degree if the two I already have had not proven useful to me. As mentioned on previous postings, no, they are not the answer to all problems in all situations. But then again, neither are conventional degrees. Believe me, I know what I am talking about in that respect. My conventional, nationally accredited bachelor degree is, to all intents and purposes, useless. However, private degrees are useful if employed properly.

I am an Aussie by birth and over the last four years I have travelled extensively throughout South East Asia. The bachelor degree I got through instantdegrees.com has been very useful at opening doors that would have otherwise remained closed and has been instrumental in my ability to travel as I have. However, it is true that a private degree is not the answer in all circumstances. Some positions require a nationally accredited degree or they need some specific form of accreditation. A private degree will not help you in those circumstances. Nonetheless, the sheer reality is that most jobs do not have such requirements and a legally granted degree will often get your foot in the door. After that it is up to you and your own abilities. I have found the Apostille particularly useful, even in countries that are not signatory countries.

I have used instantdegrees.com several times over about the last seven years. I have personally acquired a bachelor degree, master degree and doctorate degree. They have been of immense help to me. I have also acquired degrees of varying levels for family and friends, whixh is permitted as a returning client. Intelligently deployed, private degrees can be very useful BUT you must understand the explanations about limitations and circumstances in which a private degree is not suitable because specific accreditation is needed. Fortunately for me and those I know, accreditation has never been much of an issue. Although I have not personally acquired an Apostille, a family member did and was very impressed with the results.

Instantdegrees.com is a good service if you need a legally granted degree fast based on what you already know. If you need a nationally accredited degree, then it is not for you. In my experience, national accreditation is rarely needed and a private degree supported by an apostille will suffice in most situations.

I got my first degree (a Bachelor) through instantdegrees.com four years ago. It is legal and useful in circumstances that do not need specific accreditation (just like they state on the website) and I have found that getting the Apostille substantially simplifies using the degree but it is not a guaranteed fix in all situations. But then, no degree is. You should see the trouble my Israeli girfriend has using her totally traditional degree outside Israel!!! As for Anonymous, I would guess that Police would be the kind of government job that requires specific accreditation that the website of instantdegrees.com actually explains private degrees are not to be used for. Your best option is to pose your question to the site. Anyway, I am back for my Masters degree now :)

We are both happy with the legality and the quality and our degrees have been (we believe) fundamental in the success of our company consultancy business. I would state honestly that I am generally satisfied with what I received.
The degree I received was legally granted as advertised, but it turned out not to be useful in the use I originally intented for it.
I have to admit that this was my fault, not the fault of the supplier. I did not check the accreditation requirements fully before ordering.
That said, I have used the degree successfully in several situations since, after getting the Hague Convention Apostille applied to it.
On balance, despite the initial hitch that was entirely my fault, I am satisfied and the documentation has served me well.

The only caution I would advise with this programme is to pay attention to accreditation matters. The degrees are legal, but you must make sure that your personal situation does not require specific accreditation. Because I have a traditional degree(a US Regionally Accredited bachelor degree)I am in a good position to compare the usefulness of the two types of degree.
While it is true that there circumstances in which only a degree with a certian type of accreditation will be accepted, my experience shows that once a degree has been supported by Hague Convention Apostille it will be accepted in most circumstances. I am basing this on five years of use.
No degree will be accepted in all circumstances.
I have had situations in which my US Regionally Accredited Bacjhelor degree has been rejected as a suitable qualification.

My advice is to make sure you understand what you are getting before you apply. Private degrees are pretty neat pieces of kit, but you should not forget that they are loophole devices. I think people sometimes forget what this means, but as a historian I can help. A loophole was a small slit in a castle wall for shooting arrows out. Gaining entry into the castle could be achieved by a small force or even an individual via a loophole. This was an cunning alternative to an expensive, destructive and time consuming conventional assault to breach the castle walls or gate. The service provided by instantdegrees.com follows this analogy. A private degree is a quick, cheap and unconventional alternative to a costly and time consuming conventional graduation path. This path provides many, but not all, of the same results as a conventional program. The way to look at life experience degrees, is that you need to be honest about what matches your experience and knowledge. You have to hold yourself to high standards in pursuing this avenue and most things will be fine once you get that point.

Legality has got to be your only concern with this program. The degree I got is definitely legal, but obtained by some pretty clever application of legislation. Don't expect a conventional degree from a traditional campus based college. Expect legal, unconventional and (in my case) quite useful. This degree got my 'foot in the door' - after that my skills sold my employer on hiring me. He admitted that had I not had a degree on my CV, he would not have offered me an interview. Understanding fully this use of legislation to ariive at the desired outcome (legally granted degree) may be beyond the brain capacity of ordinary thinkers. Quite a good package overall. In my personal case it has proven useful as a 'door opener' but I should point out that there was not need for any kind of specific accreditation. You have to be careful with private degrees and private accreditation. Both are legal, but sometimes specific accreditation is needed. Just like that site says. Used wisely, private degrees can really open doors for you. Of course, once I was in, I had to 'cut the mustard' otherwise I would have been out. Nonetheless, without the degree, I doubt I would have got the first interview.

I do not understand about instantdegrees.com. There is no phone number if you need to contact them its via aol on e mail which seems to cost money. And where are these diplomas even coming from can you pick your college. that does not seem to be an option which is annoying. Plus I want to do education and that is not a field that you may pick...specifically special education. It seems dubious that such a place would not leave a phone number for you to call them if you had to. A huge red flag.

Legality is the main issue with this service. In my case I received a Bachelor degree which I later supported with Transcripts (they take a bit longer and you have to provide more information than you do in the initial application) and then the Apostille (takes longer because it is Government Issued) and the result proved a useful set of documentation. You still have to be aware of accreditation requirements in the use of the degree, but this set up does work if correctly and wisely employed. Of course, like any precision tool, it is useless in the hands of an idiot but if used correctly these private degrees can really open doors.

My first degree is a conventional US Regionally Accredited Bachelor degree - biggest waste of time and money EVER! I got my Master and then Doctorate thru Instantdegrees.com SWEET!! Combined with an Apostille they are DYNAMITE. Previous posters are right tho'. I am so thrilled with my new bachelor degree. This has got to be the best $130 I have ever spent. It is exactly what is described in the FAQ - a legally granted private degree with private accreditation that meets the legal definition of 'accredited'. Accreditation is a complex subject and it is explained really clearly in the FAQ. As mentioned, it is a subject that is often misunderstood. My advice to 'Anonymous' is to read the FAQ and if he or she needs any kind of specific accreditation then give this service a miss. But if the need is for a legally granted degree, then go for it!

This service is reliable and not a scam. I was first a customer in 2001 (bachelor) 2004 (master) 2008 (doctorate) and 2011 (Professorship). I disagree with the anonymous poster above. There is a very clear explanation in the FAQ that I read before I ordered to the effect that if you need a degree from a specific country or you can't explain your degree through distance programs or if you have any criteria for satisfaction other than legality, then you should not apply. It says so in black and white. I am an American living in Milan and I was delighted with the degree I received - the kind of attitude expressed above gives us Americans a bad name. It seems to be saying 'only US is legit' which, considering how poorly US Graduates are regarded internationally and how much they are being out performed by Graduates from 'emerging counries' is kind rich!

I understand what Mylar means about not being mainstream. The anonymous person should read the FAQ on the website. the concepts are well explained.

I can clarify the comment about mainstream, as I have done earlier. My advice is to make sure you understand what you are getting before you apply. Private degrees are pretty neat pieces of kit, but you should not forget that they are loophole devices. I think people sometimes forget what this means, but as a historian I can help. A loophole was a small slit in a castle wall for shooting arrows out. Gaining entry into the castle could be achieved by a small force or even an individual via a loophole. This was a cunning alternative to an expensive, destructive and time consuming conventional assault to breach the castle walls or gate. The service provided by instantdegrees.com follows this analogy. A private degree is a quick, cheap and unconventional alternative to a costly and time consuming conventional (mainstream) graduation path. This path provides many, but not all, of the same results as a conventional program. Just as getting a small force into a castle can gain control of it, but is not the same as a large conventional force overwhelming the defenses.

I would say that if you don't understand the concept behind private degrees and the difference between them and mainstream or traditional degrees, then this service is not for you. As I have previously stated, my experience with instantdegrees.com has been very good.
I was one of their first clients way back in 2001.
The legally granted degrees that I have obtained over the years - a bachelor, a master and doctorate - have served me well.
I must stress that private degrees do not meet all expectations in all circumstances, but correctly used by an intelligent person, they are a great tool.

The difference between traditional or mainstream' degrees is explained in the FAQ. In my personal case it has proven useful as a 'door opener' but I should point out that there was not need for any kind of specific accreditation. You have to be careful with private degrees and private accreditation. Both are legal, but sometimes specific accreditation is needed. Just like that site says. Used wisely, private degrees can really open doors for you. Of course, once I was in, I had to 'cut the mustard' otherwise I would have been out. Nonetheless, without the degree, I doubt I would have got the first interview.

I agree entirely with Felicity and anyone contemplating this service would do well to absorb her words. Legality is the main issue with this service. In my case I received a Bachelor degree which I later supported with Transcripts (they take a bit longer and you have to provide more information than you do in the initial application) and then the Apostille (takes longer because it is Government Issued) and the result proved a useful set of documentation. You still have to be aware of accreditation requirements in the use of the degree, but this set up does work if correctly and wisely employed. Of course, like any precision tool, it is useless in the hands of an idiot but if used correctly these private degrees can really open doors.

I got my first degree from instantdegrees..com eight years ago. Since then I have been a regular customer. Over those years I have obtained more degrees for myself and my family, transcripts(student records) and apostilles. Every piece of documentation ahs been legal and useful - certainly within the excellent explanations in the Terms of Service. People say that private degrees are not the answer to everything and that is perfectly true.However, they are the answer if you need a fast, cheap and legal means to graduation and have no identfied and defined accreditation requirements. If that is so and you have the smarts to understan this, then private degrees are great.
